It's in an upscale quiet neighborhood with a yard full of mature trees and water access on the property. Includes a patio area and beach access. No other rooms in the home are included. There's a microwave and coffee pot, no kitchen, no use of a kitchen, no stove, no stove hookups. The owner and his wife live upstairs full time. You'll have a separate entrance through the garage and not sharing any other parts of the home, it's not a roommate arrangement. You'll have use of a patio area that has two chairs overlooking the quiet well-maintained yard of mature trees. You'll have water access on the property to kayak, swim, paddle board or watch the sunset. The remainder of the home or decks are not part of this rental. It's at the ground level, no stairs to enter the rental. The property is on high ground that does not flood, so unlike many properties on Hatteras Island, you will not need to move your vehicle to high ground when there's high winds. Off street parking is available for one vehicle. The rental includes a microwave, coffee pot, clothes wardrobe, a refrigerator/freezer on top, two dressers, two nightstands, wicker chair, queen bed, 32" square table and chairs. It includes sheets, comforter, new mattress pad, new shower curtain and liner, towels and bath clothes, and the carpet was recently shampooed. There is no washer/dryer, but if needed, the landlord offers to do your laundry for $15 per load and you furnish the detergent or there is a dropoff laundry business nearby. This rental is for one person ONLY, if you have guest staying overnight on a regular basis, the owner has the right to terminate the lease.
