I've lived here for over three years as a tenant, and this is a wonderful place for those that love the majestic La Quinta Mountain views and beautiful sunsets in a resort-like setting. The room for rent is available for viewing. Gate Guarded Community with a lake only a couple houses away, pools galore (the closest is just 40-steps out the back patio), tennis, pickleball, fitness room and more. About a mile south from HWY 111 in La Quinta. Unfurnished, private 12'x11' room with w/plantation shutters on windows. 9-ft. ceiling w/fan. Full bathroom, tub/shower combo (not shared). Outdoor natural gas BBQ - no propane required. Close to hiking trails, movie theaters, plentiful shopping, eating establishments, and this is just a hop, skip, and a jump from Old Town La Quinta. Well, that's a really long jump, as it's just about a mile away. Lol. The rent is $1,150 a month, plus 1/2 of all utilities - water, gas, electric, cable, and wireless Internet. Security deposit is equal to one month's rent. This is a month-to-month rental. Roommate must have an acceptable credit score and can pass a background check. No smoking/illegal drugs and no pets, and just one person per room - sorry. A good sense of humor and clever conversation are a bonus! Tenant is responsible for one-half of all utilities - water, gas, electric, cable, and wireless Internet. No smoking/drugs and one person per room (guests are ok). Tenant is also responsible for sharing in house cleaning, including bathroom (which guests also might use on occasion). HOA requires back patio area is maintained by renters (us), but front yard landscaping is provided by HOA.
