The apartment was totally gutted with all new electric, plumbing, heating, cooling, walls, floors, doors and trim about 5 years ago. The apartment has 9' ceilings with large windows. The apartment has central heat and AC, has hardwood floors and new kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is about two blocks from the train station into NYC, Hoboken and Newark. All tenants are required to sign a written lease. The PSEG bill is paid by the tenant. The water and sewer is paid by the landlord. We run credit reports on all interested applicants and require good credit. We require a $40 fee which essentially covers the cost of the credit report. We require 1 1/2 months security deposit. In order to get the discounted monthly payable rent of $1,295, we require tenants to pay the rent by zelle or venmo AND such payment is not late. The lease will be written for $1,500 per month if you don't meet these conditions. We encourage tenant to obtain renters insurance but don't require it.
