My father, who was a professional contractor, built this house in 1962. It was an amazing house to grow up in with it’s open floor plan, large living room for family gatherings, and finished basement with enough room for us to play in and my mom to have her “sewing center”. There are 2 large bedrooms on the main floor, which now has newly refinished hardwood floors throughout, fresh paint, crown moldings, an updated kitchen with cherry cabinets, a remodel bathroom and an enclosed sunroom/office with a gas fireplace. Upstairs there are another 3 bedrooms and full bathroom, walk-in cedar closet, an additional extra large storage room, and storage space under the eaves. Like i said, plenty of storage, the house is bigger than it looks from the outside. The detached 3-car garage also has an attached workshop/storage and the yard has a yummy pear tree and plenty of space to run around in and garden. Anyhow, my mom has passed away and dad is in a nursing home with Parkinsons dementia. We have updated the house professionally with fresh paint, refinished hardwoods and new carpeting upstairs. The electrical has been updated, along with a slew of miscellaneous professional upgrades.
