Located about 50 minutes from Colorado Springs and approximately 30 minutes from Woodland Park, you are within driving range of Cripple Creek, Garden of the Gods, and Manitou Springs. Relish in unmatched panoramic mountain scenery that will give you memories for a lifetime. This cabin retreat features a deck on three sides, providing ample opportunities to take in the incredible panoramic landscape. On the back deck, relax in custom Adirondack-style chairs or enjoy a meal at the outdoor dining table while basking in the views. Inside, a unique metal hanging fireplace adds a rustic touch to the living room, which includes two couches and plenty of seating. A sliding glass door opens onto the back porch, offering easy access to the scenery. The quaint galley-style kitchen is equipped with all the essentials for home-cooked meals. The master bedroom, with a sliding glass door to the back porch, includes a private bathroom. An additional bathroom with a walk-in shower is located near the front entrance, and another bedroom is on the main floor. Upstairs, the loft features two twin beds, one full-sized bed, and a reading nook. The house is surrounded by nature and wildlife, with an incredible starlit sky at night due to minimal light pollution. There is no air conditioner, but the cool mountain breeze can be enjoyed by opening the windows or using the fan provided. The neighborhood offers the feel of a remote Colorado landscape, with a sparsely populated area mainly consisting of permanent residents. The final leg of your journey includes three miles of unlit, unpaved road, so it's best to arrive before sunset to enjoy the scenery. Wildlife such as deer, elk, bear, and coyotes are common, so be mindful of your surroundings. The nearest grocery stores are a thirty-minute drive away in Woodland Park, so plan accordingly. Hiking and exploring opportunities abound in the surrounding area, including Pike's Peak, Manitou Springs, and Garden of the Gods. While Wi-Fi is available in the cabin, cell phone coverage can be spotty depending on your carrier. Pets are prohibited as a safety precaution due to the prevalence of wildlife and steep drop-offs. Trash should be placed in the metal dumpster at the end of the driveway to prevent wildlife access. The large fireplace is for decor only, with central heating available for warmth. Respect quiet hours from 9 PM to 8 AM and avoid smoking or vaping indoors. No parties, events, or guests not on the booking are allowed. Minimum rental age is 25. Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 11 AM. Due to the strict HOA, remain on the property and do not walk outside or on the street. No shoes in the house, and no firearms or weapons are permitted.
