A sliding glass door opens onto the back porch, offering easy access to the scenery. The quaint galley-style kitchen is equipped with all the essentials for home-cooked meals. An additional bathroom with a walk-in shower is located near the front entrance, and another bedroom is on the main floor. The final leg of your journey includes three miles of unlit, unpaved road, so it's best to arrive before sunset to enjoy the scenery. Wildlife such as deer, elk, bear, and coyotes are common, so be mindful of your surroundings. The nearest grocery stores are a thirty-minute drive away in Woodland Park, so plan accordingly. Hiking and exploring opportunities abound in the surrounding area, including Pike's Peak, Manitou Springs, and Garden of the Gods.
