They really took their time with this home - at least a year - the crown and base moldings are gorgeous and nine years later, have not a single crack. Custom-painted throughout with lush colors, arched foyer with cool tile and matching silver-green paint. The kitchen is enormous, with dining area, butcher block peninsula that seats three, a fireplace, plus room for a full-size pull-out sofa and office armoir. Neighborhood Description Very pretty neighborhood bordering Los Gatos (two blocks away), lots of families on our street, everyone takes great care of their homes. Many have updated to million-plus values. Homes on the block are deceptively big; people usually build out to the back and you can't guess by looking at the front how roomy they are. Big bonus: this home is in the Alta Vista School District by virtue of being on one of the "Bel" streets (little-known secret). Bel Escou, Bel Canto, Bel Estos, etc. are all drawn into Alta Vista's district instead of Carlton's. Carlton is a great school, but Alta Vista is one of the best. Our kids love it there.
