Relaxing furnished home in safe yet convenient neighborhood minutes from downtown Providence. Make yourself at home with a wide array of kitchen amenities or cozy up by the electric fireplace. The house hosts three furnished bedrooms with two bathrooms. Many previous guests are doing their medical residency, so I'm happy to connect you with roommates if applicable. Detailed Description The first inspiring bedroom is furnished in a contemporary style with luxury amenities including a full-size bed with a Casper mattress, hotel collection sheets, private bathroom with marble tiles, a large desk, and a smart TV. The bathroom is complete with a ceiling heater for those cold mornings, generous storage, and a built-in cabinet (not pictured) with a granite countertop. The second bedroom includes a queen bed, hotel collection sheets, shared bathroom (two bedrooms share one bathroom) with an original clawfoot tub, a desk, and a large closet. The shared bathroom is complete with the original tub (please be cautious getting in and out), generous storage for your toiletries in a custom-built wall cabinet, and a granite countertop. The third bedroom includes a king mattress from the W-Hotel, hotel collection sheets, a desk, and a private closet. Guest Access The house is equipped with a washer and dryer in the basement, off-street parking, a full-size kitchen complete with numerous amenities (a list is provided upon check-in) including a traditional coffee-maker, toaster, K-Cup machine, blender, cooking supplies, spice rack, and more. The kitchen supplies are extremely organized is as I've hosted dozens of Airbnb guests. The living room is complete with an electric fireplace, high-performance Wifi that is perfect for streaming movies and multiplayer gaming on 10+ devices, and a professionally monitored security system for your safety. For those who strive to look their best, other amenities include an ironing board, iron, starch, and a drying rack for clothes. Laundry detergent is available for short-term guests but those seeking an extended stay are asked to purchase their own. Interaction with Guests If there are any questions or concerns, I'm available anytime via email, SMS, or phone. The house is professionally maintained by a national cleaning company. The Neighborhood While off-street parking is provided, guests are able to travel downtown via Uber (usually $7-$10) or public transportation (bus fare is $2.25). The house is in a residential neighborhood made up of numerous young families. Providence College's campus is one block away and a locally renowned coffee shop (LaSalle Bakery) is a five-minute walk away. Shaws Supermarket, CVS, and a number of other shops and gyms are located within a five-minute drive. Whole Foods, Starbucks, and some of the best Italian food in New England is a ten-minute drive away. The #1 overall restaurant Providence on Yelp (1 out of 675) is only three blocks away! It serves traditional Peruvian food and offers amazing values! Other Things to Note The house has been recently renovated but is still an older house with steam heat. The steam radiators do make a quiet hissing sound every so often when it is especially cold outside. House Rules No pets are allowed and the property is non-smoking due to my allergies.
