    What's special

This is a bright and very spacious, well-built apartment right on Broadway, surrounded by everything you need and only steps from the A Train. The pre-war building has thick walls so you'll never hear neighbors or even people in the other rooms of the apartment. There's a sturdy elevator, clean basement with washers and dryers and reliable superintendent. The living room is large and sunny that looks over Broadway, with charming mediterranean touches. The master bedroom is quite large and looks out on a beautiful Romanesque Church built in 1936. When it's snowing, the view is gorgeous. The kitchen is separated from the living room with an oven, refrigerator and plenty of cabinet space. The cozy bathroom has a full bathtub. The second bedroom is spacious, with a large closet, and looks out into a quintessential NYC building quad. This room can be converted into a nice office or child's bedroom. There's two other large closets throughout the apartment. The neighborhood is extremely safe, and has the right balance of liveliness with peace and quiet. There's all the major cafes, grocery stores and pharmacies only steps away, as well as unique indie coffee shops, bars and restaurants all around. Dyckman Ave also has wonderful outdoor restaurants and a stunning pier with water views. Furthermore, the apartment is in close proximity to some of the most beautiful parks in the city, including Isham Park and the Cloisters. If you're looking for more space, both in the apartment and in your neighborhood, with access to what the city provides, this place is ideal. We've been here for almost 3 years and are only moving because we're heading back to California. Otherwise we would be in this apartment for much longer. Our lease is up at the end of February, so we're looking for someone to sign a new 1 Year Lease in December or January. There's no broker's fee, as we're personally showing the apartment. Heat and Water is covered by the landlord. Street Parking. Pets Welcome. We are a non-smoking home. Willing to sell furniture as well as A/C unit if interested. Will be adding more pictures soon!
