The home was built in 1927. The apartment is ideal for a single person or a couple. It is cozy but not large, and only has one bedroom with one queen-size bed. It is fully furnished. It is decorated in mission style in keeping with the bungalow's architecture. It has an auto racing theme, including autographed artwork. The location is perfect! The bungalow is just one block from Speedway's newly revitalized Main Street and its restaurants, and it's a short hike to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. There is also a rails-to-trails walking/biking path behind the property. There is free parking in front of and behind the house. There is a nice desk and high-speed wireless internet for you to get your work done. Its bedroom has a beautiful queen-size, four-poster bed. The kitchen has full-sized appliances. The bathtub/shower in the bathroom has safety handrails. The dining area features a solid oak dining table and chairs. The living room is comfy thanks to a mission-style sofa and a massage chair. Books and games are available, as is a smart TV, a DVD player, and a combo CD, AM/FM radio, cassette and record player. There is a front porch with chairs for relaxing too. A washer and dryer are in the basement for your use, free of charge. Linens, pots and pans, and dishes are supplied as are general supplies to get you started; after that, please replenish anything you finish. (Example: If you finish the supply of paper towels, buy more and replace what you finished.) The bungalow is especially close to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the IMS Museum, Main Street in Speedway and its restaurants, Speedway Indoor Karting, Dallara, Allison Transmission and Praxair. It is easy to get to downtown (15-20 minutes depending on traffic) and also to Indianapolis's many hospitals. (Several doctors and nurses have found it to be ideal!). Lucas Oil Stadium, the Convention Center, Gainbridge Fieldhouse and Lucas Oil Raceway are short drives away. A city bus stop is just three blocks away. The airport is about 15 minutes away. It's close to everything! The minimum lease is three months. Zillow didn't have an option for that so I used six months, but it's really three months. Unlike a hotel room, the bungalow is homey....it's your perfect home-away-from-home when you're back home again in Indiana! This is a fully furnished one-bedroom apartment which is half of a duplex. It is located in the historic section of Speedway, within walking distance of Main St. restaurants. There is a rails-to-trails walking path behind the house. No living spaces are shared except for the front porch, which the renter on the other side doesn't use. He is very quiet. There is absolutely no smoking inside and no pets allowed. Either of these will result in zero refund of your $1,000 security deposit. Rent includes all utilities except for cable TV. T-Mobile home internet capable of Zoom is included. There is a smart TV. Off-street parking is in front of and behind the house. Minimum stay is three months.
