The house was moved by settle construction in April of 2005 from tarbell rd in warren where it had a full basement and detached garage.. the old owner kept the garage (you can see its still there on tarbell rd with matching siding as this house.. This is a stick built house that started in 1945 with just 1 room they built and added onto this house over the years using mostly recycled and used materials.. the exterior walls are not insulated and but have several layers of various thicknesses of old paneling and fiber boards (makes it a real challenge when re-modeling) ... when the house was moved to 18th street in 2005 they had a new foundation built by a non licensed contractor who did not get it accurate and ddid not make it level..the story is that he QUIT before it was completed and the top supporting surfaces were wavey and uneven .. when suttle construction brought the house as scheduled and on time they had to just go ahead and place the house on the new foundation as it was because there was nobody to fix the errors... This house needs to be jacked up again... a new 3 foot tall 2x8 pony wall placed ontop of existing fountation and properly leveled and shimmed .. settle construction said they would jack it up and come back a week later and set it back down for $10k this would make the basement a useable space that could later be finished and used as living or ???? Currently it has a 4'-5' crawl space with dirt floor .. this house needs alot of work ... please make offer ...
