Great starter home-- it was for us! I purchased this home in 2011. Lots of updates, partially furnished, great deal. I own the house cash, so no banks involved. Need to move due to family illness/relocation. Was not planning on moving so soon. Professionally installed roof and vinyl siding in 2012 & new front and side decks in 2012. Re-ran the sewer line in 2011 to closer manhole because the pipe had a root going through it-- so you will never have to worry about that! New Exterior windows and doors in 2012 and new (nice!) stain master padded carpeting in 2012. Unfinished basement with walls as separation for laundry room and storage room. Hatch stairway from upstairs to basement. Stairs are a bit odd, but we used them fine. Can be redone if you want to lose a closet in the living room. Appliances updated in 2011. Included in sale are: Range (stainless), refrigerator(stainless look), washer/drier (gas) The carpet is NICE and fluffy with thick pad and lifetime warranty. The rest of the floor (about 300 sqft) is partially finished laminate hard wood. I have the rest, and if time permits I will finish. If not, put it down or not I will include the rest of the laminate in the sale. Also included are an older leather reclining couch, a few end tables and a TV stand -- partially furnished. Fenced in back yard with shed. Great for dogs (we have two large dogs) The rear deck needs decking repaired, but we use it to store the grill / chairs etc. The house still needs renovation and your touches. Some walls are sheet rocked and waiting for paint. Others are the original paneling from when we bought the house. The kitchen cabinets and counters are also unchanged. They are functional, but old. Neighborhood Description Mountain Dale (Mountaindale) is an arts community. The area has the famous Rail Trail within a short walk where you can take a leisurely walk into town to get a snack, or walk for quite a while along a flat retired railroad line turned hiking trail. There are trails nearby for quad and dirt-bike enthusiasts, as well as hunting areas and nature trails within walking distance.
