    Single family Cape Cod on a 7 house cul-de-sac. 6 minute walk to town, 4 minutes to the train station, 2 minutes to the park. Hardwood floors throughout. Full size basement, attached 1 car garage. Double pane windows. Roof, siding, and gas furnace all less than 10 years old. Nice yard with trees. Close To Transportation. Highly Rated Town With Top Rated Schools. The house was built in the 1950s, but the siding, roof, and gas furnace have been replaced in the last 10 years. There is no air conditioning, but the heat is forced air so the full duct work is in place, and you can have the 3 window A/C units which are in the garage if you want them. There is only 1 small bathroom, which was fitted for wheelchair access by taking out the door and door jam and putting a curtain on a rod in its place. The bathroom would definitely need renovating. The neighbor, whose house was almost identical, remodeled the bathroom and added a 2nd bathroom on the 2nd floor. One of the upstairs rooms does not have a closet, and I've just learned that means it is not technically a bedroom, which lowers the tax assessment. The taxes are currently about $8,100 a year. One of the actual bedrooms has a small closet, the other 2 are a little larger. There is a family room and a kitchen/dining room combination, but no formal dining room or living room. All rooms have hardwood flooring, though some are currently covered by carpet or linoleum. The basement is full sized and partially finished. There are walls dividing it into a workroom, a playroom, and a party area with a bar. The washer and dryer are also in the basement, and there is a utility sink and a new sump pump. The single car garage is attached, with the back door about 2 steps from the bottom of the back stairs to the house. It has an attic for storage. The paved driveway has 2 parking spots and can fit 3 cars. There is plenty of on-street parking available. The neighbors are great. If you do not plan on being a good neighbor then I would appreciate you not considering this house, as the neighbors considered my father like family while he lived there and took good care of him. I don't want to repay them by selling his house to anyone who will not be kind and open to them.
