This is a meticulously designed and maintained home on a unique, beautiful and secure property. It is centrally located with easy access to Espanola (3 miles) Santa Fe and Los Alamos (both about 22 miles) and all of northern New Mexico. Espanola offers shopping, services and a great hospital. We are Airbnb Superhosts and landlords with many years' experience. We've hosted travelling medical professionals, LANL interns, postdocs, contractors and tourists over a 40-year period. Our location is the best of both worlds. You can work in Los Alamos, Santa Fe, Espanola or Taos and live in a rural residential area with easy access to both city and country. There's vast BLM hiking up the street with views of the Sangre de Christo and Jemez Mountains, and a riverfront riviera and onsite vegetable farm in the warmer months. We are happy to introduce you to the many wonders of the area and support you in having a great stay. Full lease will be provided for review to interested parties. Signed lease, security deposit and first and last month's rent (for terms over 1 month) is required to hold the premises. Minimum 1-month lease, renewable with 2-week notice. 6-month lease is preferred. All utilities are included: high-speed internet, garbage (tenant removes trash and recycling from house to building across the driveway, we haul trash to dump), water, electricity, and propane. Reverse osmosis filtration for drinking water is supplied at kitchen sink. Shared use of washer-dryer and vacuum is arranged with owner, who lives in the front unit. Biweekly cleaning by our staff (@$125 per cleaning per bedroom used) is required and includes linen and towel exchange. The tenant is responsible for keeping personal and shared spaces clean between cleanings. The house is fully furnished with pots, pans, cutlery, linens, towels, and great lighting. All bedrooms have independent heat controls. The downstairs kitchen, dining, living room and bathroom have radiant in-floor heat which should not be adjusted without landlord notice. The upstairs bedroom has a mini-split for heating and cooling. The downstairs bedrooms are heated by hydronic baseboard heaters and cooled by fans and opening the windows at night in the summer months and closing them (and the shades) during the day. Please be energy conscious and turn down the heat and AC in the bedrooms you are not using or when you leave for the day. Respectful use and care of the premises is a requirement of the lease. The house is non-smoking, shoe and candle-free. We ask that food be consumed in the kitchen are only and not brought into the bedrooms. The damage deposit is fully refundable if there's no damage to the premises or its furnishings beyond normal wear and tear. Please discuss pets and any other details with the landlord.
