    The house itself has been remodeled several times. From the outside, it looks like a regular suburban home, but inside it has a modern, color-rich vibe. The finished basement is light and airy due to three large windows which replace the conventional small aeration windows of typical basements. On the basement floor is an office, sitting and game area, television area, gym, storage area and wine room. The first floor has another office, good sized kitchen, huge 'great room' and full dining room, as well as a little nook for family notes and things. The second floor has 5 bedrooms with a master bed en-suite (which also has a shaded outdoor terrace). There are 4 full baths in the house and a powder room on the first floor. Architectural details abound throughout. Outside, there is a pool, spa, and pool house, which has another bathroom, full shower and sitting/eating area. In terms of the neighborhood, this one is next to an older development (Sherbrooke Estates), Windsor Chase was built in the mid 1980's. The houses are owned by a mix of families and empty-nesters, all very friendly. Many live here because of proximity to the Princeton Junction stop on the Northeast Corridor train (it's about a 15-minute walk) although there are Princeton professors, people that work at local financial services firms and real estate agents. The train ride to New York City on an express train is under an hour to New York Penn Station from Princeton Junction. You can also take the "dinky" train to Princeton township near the University. The 'main street' near this development is being improved, with plans to eventually beautify the 571 and make it more pedestrian friendly. The Windsor Plaza shopping center, across the 571 from the development has undergoing a major, and much-needed facelift, with a lot of new shops, including PJ's Pancake House, a Wayback Burger restaurant and several others. Mrs. Green's, a grocery store dedicated to organic and health-conscious food, hasn't really taken off (they should have put a Trader Joe's there!). Old standbys include The Bagel Hole and Aljon's Pizza. The area enjoys many active community groups including the West Windsor Pedestrian and Bicycle Alliance and a thriving Farmer's Market which runs every Saturday at the train station. The post office, library and senior center are a short drive away from this home. One can walk to both Maurice Hawk Elementary School and to West Windsor High School South. There is a lovely small park across from the development called the Ron Rogers Arboretum, and from there it is a short walk to the West Windsor park which features a swimming pool, sports fields and playgrounds.
