The Mehitable Hill. James Gilman House perhaps the last existing untouched period half house in the city. This antique home has been examined by Architectual Historians but is not modern in anyway and most would modernize. There are no granite counter tops or sexy appliances. Each room has a fireplace with vernacular Federal mantles except one with an early stove thimble.
