    What's special

Fully Furnished Boston living at the Beach! Perfect for extended family vacation, professional, corporate or graduate student housing needs. The ocean is the star of this 1,700 sq. ft, 3 bedroom, first-floor, dog/cat-friendly, short-term, fully furnished, non-smoking rental condo. Stay close to the city while you get away from crowds and enjoy the rustic, rocky beach. Wake-up to the most magnificent sunrise, that can be watched from the master bedroom without even leaving the covers. Catch some fresh air with a brisk walk or bike along the mile-long seawall. Even winter is enchanting, with rough surf and speckled snow on the beach while you stay cozy inside. Enjoy life on the Beach, walking distance to Yacht Clubs, Marinas, and a Golf Course. Swim, kayak, ride your surfboard, and kitesurf in front of the house, or walk a few blocks north to the sandy, lifeguarded stretch. The unit is one block to the local bus, 5-7 minute drive to the Blue Line T station. This thoughtfully furnished home has everything you need for an extended stay, just bring your clothes and order some groceries. It's perfect for a professional pad, or for family time with lots of open, as well as private spaces. It consists of an ocean-view master bedroom with king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom; a second bedroom with a queen sized bed, and the third bedroom, with a wall mounted smart TV, can be used as a playroom, work from home den/office, or bedroom (two single pull-outs or tucked together as a queen bed). The large kitchen with granite countertops and butcher-block island seating is open to the family/living room and water view, and well-appointed for those who like to cook. Living room has a sectional couch, 2 oversized leather chairs and a 60" smart TV. Dining room has large table and chairs for eight; the window-lined entryway sun-room has bistro table for two and bench seating. Our home is made comfortable with stylish, non-fussy furnishings that you can relax into. Plantation Shutters on every window help you adjust the view, the light, and privacy. Amenities include off-street parking, central air conditioning and heating, in-unit washer & dryer, 2 smart TVs, Ethernet, WiFi, key-less entry, bed linens & towels, extra pillows & blankets, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, stove, dishes & silverware, coffee maker, slow-cooker, BBQ grill, shared patio, wired smoke detectors, fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarms, and basement storage. We live in the building on the third floor and are generally available to assist if you have questions or needs arise. Depending on the time of year, you may see us out on the shared patio next to the first floor entrance. The bay view is speckled with The Harbor Islands National Park, 2 lighthouses, including the US Oldest: Boston Light. The distance has the mesmerizing activity of the Boston shipping channel and eastern flight-path. The airport is close enough that we can see the planes line up for landing, lights reflecting on the water, but southerly enough that the noise of landing planes is usually unnoticeable inside. Windy days and rough surf can bring a dozen surfers to the shore. You can get around the Winthrop shore on foot, or rent a Lime Bike to explore the great little restaurants (including an ice cream shop) and bookstore nearby. Winthrop Town center with pharmacy, coffee shops, restaurants, and our green grocer are about a mile a way. A car isn't strictly necessary to enjoy our home or the city, but there's an off-street parking spot included in the rent. Larger shopping plaza and Target are ~10 minutes up the shore drive. For public transit reference: You should expect a ~$12, (and ~12 minute) Lyft ride to/from the airport. Boston public transportation (MBTA) starts with a bus at the end of the street, or a 5-minute drive to the Orient Height "T" subway station. The Airport Station is 2 stations away on the Blue Line: Boston's Downtown, Aquarium, Government Center, Boston Garden, Seaport, Children's Museum and Historic Sites, are all just ~20 minutes away. It's an easy transfer for a ~30-40 minute commute on the Green line to Longwood Medical Area hospitals, Museum of Fine Arts, Northeastern, Harvard Med, Mass College of Pharmacy, MassArt, SMFA, Wentworth, and Simmons. Boston University, Boston College, Berklee, Emerson, and Suffolk are also on the Green line. MIT, Harvard, UMass Boston, Tufts, and Lesley are an easy transfer to the Red Line. Take the Orange Line for Bunker Hill CC or Tufts School of Medicine. Three (3) month initial lease, then month by month after first three. First month's rent and security deposit due at lease signing. No smoking. Pets are subject to approval and limited to a maximum of 3. Additional security deposit of $500 for each furred or feathered pet. Utilities, Internet access, digital antenna TV and one off-street parking included.
