Hi, owner posting here. My place will be available to rent from December 1st, but could possibly be available earlier if needed/for the right tenant. It was a complete gut renovation several years ago in this old soft-loft building in the Near South Side/South Loop, and most recently I had the entire heating/cooling system replaced only a couple years ago. It is a penthouse unit (13th floor) with 13' ceilings. The place is a real 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom corner unit (1120 sq ft + 130 sq ft balcony) which faces both north and east with unobstructed views of the Sears Tower, Museum Park, Soldier Field, McCormick, and most importantly, Lake Michigan! It is 3 blocks from Millennium park and the lake as well as 4 blocks from the Roosevelt stop on the L, Jewel, Marianos, and Trader Joes. The building is pet friendly and there are two dog parks across the street. It has high end finishes and has been well-maintained - stainless steel appliances, white quartz and black ash wood floors, washer and dryer in unit, etc. There is one available (in-building) parking spot which is in the building in a private garage. In terms of utilities: heating and air conditioning (centralized with app programmable thermostat), digital cable package, gas for cooking, water, sewage, and garbage is all included. The only additional bills will be for electricity and internet. You can also rest easy with the convenience of a 24hr doorman and gym in the building as well. There could be some flexibility on the move-in date, as I am really looking for someone who wants to make this place their home and treat it well. There is a nominal, standard move-in fee that goes to the building management, and additionally a small pet fee and bike registration fee (yearly) if you have a pet or bike. All utilities except for Electricity are included.
