The Independent Order of Odd Fellows was established in Mayslick in 1847 and this lodge built in 1904 as a meeting space for the fraternity and additional space. Throughout its history it has served a number of purposes as meeting space, general store, feed store, more. The lodge upper lodge features an original ornate pressed tin ceiling with central medallion, oversized windows in a single large room. The first floor is divided into two original store fronts with hardwood floors and original wood store shelving. Though the first floor was upgraded in the last decade with new wiring, HVAC, and appointments, the structure will require full rehabilitation. The Odd Fellows Lodge have been surveyed by the state of Kentucky as potential nominations for the National Register of Historic Places.
