Available Jan 1- beginning to mid April, $800.00 I am looking for someone ( or 2 people) to sublet my beautiful nest in West Philadelphia, university city. It is a gorgeous home in a 3 apartment building. We have community garden to the left of the house, a cedar hot tub in the back yard, and a community center (the Ahimsa House, ahimsahousephilly.org) that is run out of the first floor apartment where we offer free practices of peace to the community such as yoga, meditation, food not bombs, etc.. This home is filled with lovely people in all 3 apartments. It is a one bedroom home, however the main living room can be used as a bedroom as well to turn it into a 2 bedroom very easily. It is fully furnished and equipped with kitchen and bath supplies. Please contact me if you would like to rent the space alone, with a partner or if you a looking to rent it with someone else . The whole house is vegetarian. That does not meant you have to be Veggie, just that you cannot eat meat in the house. This home is a sanctuary, at all times and especially in the winter months! There is heat, washer and dryer, internet, street parking, great food and shops only 2 blocks way on baltimore, a patio on the front of the house as well out the back window of the apartment. SPECIAL AHIMSA HOUSE SUBLET CLAUSE: -all vegitaraian space -the subletter will be asked to collect all mail for Kellie and email her once every month with that which seems important -the subletter will be asked to sweep or mop the house on a regular basis -the subletter will be asked to email meg if anything arises in regards to the house -the subletter will be allowed to use particular things like the appliances, furnature and kitchenwares but asked not to let any books or materials exit the house and be returned in the same condition they were left by Kellie -the subletter agrees to return the home in the condition it was handed over in, swept, dusted, mopped, organised, linens and towel washed, fridge cleaned, tub and sinks scrubbed, kitchen and bathroom shelves and drawers cleaned, all places where you stored your belongs sprayed and wiped down, all books, pots, pans, and eating ware in their proper place ( I will emai you pictures of how i leave the house so you know how to return it), xoxo -the subletter agrees to not disorganise or take things out of the back walk in closet and the bedroom closet (unless you need something, and then please give me a call and check in first) -the subletter agrees to water all house plants 2-3 times a week and fertilize them once a month. -The subletter agrees to keep the house clean and free of food scraps, dirt, and an abundance of dirty clothes (this is for pest prevetion) - The subletter agrees to not place things on the alters or take anything off of the alters (treat them as sacred) -The subletter agrees to not take any of kellie's belongs out of the house -The subletter agrees to take out trash, compost, and recycling every 1 week-2 weeks. -the subletters agree to lock bikes up on the porch -the subletters agree to not wear outside shoes in the house -the subletters agree to cover the marble table in the healing space prior to placing food or water on the surface. 25C.
