Downstair is the new bathroom remodeled in 2015.The kitchen is located just next to the dining room and has a small breakfast bar of its own. The kitchen is fully equipped with major appliance, dishes, glassware, flatware, cooking and bake ware, and many seasonings and spices. The laundry room has a washer and dryer, ironing board with iron, soap, and bleach and fabric softener for your use. The living room has a fireplace with comfortably seating for about eight people. More chairs are available for conference use if needed. The home includes Wireless Internet in every room. This home is located in a very quiet and safe family neighborhood. The Chief Sealth Trail is a new multi-purpose trail which is located two blocks from the home. If you need groceries, the Seattle Supermarket and fruit and vegetable stand is about 5 walking blocks north of the home. Dearborn Park is five walking blocks south of the home. If you want the tastes of some great international restaurants, coffee shops, bakery and late night bars with great music; they are all under two miles north of the home on Beacon. It is a pleasurable home due to its large den with an inside BBQ grill. We have the BBQ tools that you will need to make an appetizing meal. This is a great room for a family, social gathering, just a place to relax or even small conference use. This room also has a small indoor garden for those with a green thumb or for those Zen moments. Outside, the home is a large and very private backyard with and patio. The # 36 bus is a two block walk from the home and the Light Rail Station is about 12 walking blocks. You can take the # 36 bus to the Light Rail Station if you don't want to walk. However, both forms of transportation take about 20 minutes to downtown Seattle. Other attractions are the Jefferson Community Center, Jefferson Park Golf Course, Jefferson Lawn Bowling, and Jefferson Skate Park. Neighborhood Description The Beacon Hill Sound Transit Light Rail station is walking distant from the house. The Light Rail connects Beacon Hill with downtown Seattle to the north and south through city neighborhoods to the SeaTac Airport. With the addition to the Light Rail, Beacon Hill has become a commuter's dream with easy access to I-5 and I-90 and to the Mountains-to-Sound Greenway biking trail connecting Seattle with King County's eastside over the I-90 Bridge. Additional paved trails run through the neighborhood and cross I-5 to downtown.
