It is a beautiful apartment that is well lit. We used the second bedroom as an office. The entire house has four units and this one has the front part of the first floor. The area: This is an incredibly quiet neighborhood. Even on weekends, you will rarely hear any noise from people passing by. Winnemac park is one block away and has several fields as well as the opportunity to utilize the track and tennis courts for the schools that border the park. During this summer the park really comes alive. There are several coffee shops, bars, and restaurants within less than a 10 minute walk! Head down Damen to find Groundswell Coffee, Breakfast Cafe, Sushi, Thai cuisine, and Gio's Bar & Grill. If you head east towards Clark St, you can find TONS of things to do over there. Our favorite has been Hopleaf! Also, Mariano's grocery store is 3 blocks away... can't beat that! Transit: One of the many highlights of this unit is its proximity to transportation. Brown Line (Damen Stop) - 8-10 minutes 50 Damen CTA Bus - 2 minutes 92 Foster CTA Bus - 3 minutes 81 Lawrence CTA Bus - 6 minutes Metra UP-N Ravenswood Stop - 8 minutes Owner pays trash, heat, and water.
