The Cotton Mill is a unique historical downtown building that was built in the early 1900's as a textile mill and later converted into apartments. So much of the charm and character remains throughout the building. We are located on the edge of downtown and less than a mile from the center of downtown activities. The Cotton Mill Lofts is conveniently located 2 miles from the Carilion hospital, Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute. LewisGale Medical Center and the Salem VA Medical Center are also only 5 miles from us. Unit #31G is a corner unit located downstairs in our groundfloor with 733 sq.ft. This is a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom with a long row of windows along two of the living room walls so plenty of natural light comes into this apartment. The bedroom has a nice walk-in closet with your own washer/dryer. The bathroom has granite countertops and a deep tub. You will find a granite bar area in the kitchen and full size stainless steel appliances. Each unit has its own AC/heat pump system so you control your own apartment temperature. All of our units are non-smoking and have granite countertops in the kitchen and bathroom and each unit has a washer/dryer in it. There is a $125 monthly Amenities Package that covers your water/sewer, trash/recycling, highspeed internet and cable, (1) parking pass per bedroom and the use of a fitness room. Electricity is billed based on your usage. We turn on all of your utilities before you move in! You can enjoy grilling out or relaxing with friends on the community patio We are cat and dog friendly! There is no breed or weight restrictions for dogs. We have an awesome group of pets here now. If you have a pet, there is a one-time pet fee of $200 due at move-in and then it is $30/month for 1 pet and an additional $10 for the second pet for a fee of $40/month.
