    This 3 bedroom, 1 full bath home offers country like living with large yard, mature trees, and quiet street. Numerous updates including: metal roof, updated electrical and newer windows. Home still boasts older charm with original hard wood floors and pocket door. Move in ready! 505 W. Saunders was built 1900 or earlier 2002-2004: Gutted Living Room, Dining Room, small downstairs bedroom, entry way and upstairs South bedroom. All studs were checked and added a few to bring up to code. All wiring checked and replaced if needed, new outlets, etc. added. New insulation, new ceiling fans placed in all rooms, pocket doors between living room and dining room were fixed and refinished. Original woodwork removed, refinished and put back up except in small bedroom downstairs which had new woodwork for baseboard placed in it. Original hardwood floors were sanded and refinished. South upstairs bedroom and the small downstairs bedroom were hand plastered (Shafer Specialties did the electric, Helmick painting and plastering, Richard Martin was the plasterer, Hughs Construction did some work as well.) All drywall used was ¾ inch blue-board 2005: new porch put on 2006: New windows and front screen door. Upstairs are Sears windows with lifetime guarantee, downstairs are another brand ordered from Mt. Pleasant Lumber. Screens downstairs are pet-proof screening. 2009: new double folded steel roof has a 50 year guarantee. It was put on by Culpits at Argyle. New gutters were done by Cooper’s gutters from Grandview. 2010: The Addition had all studs replaced, new windows and doors, new vinyl siding. Two cisterns on the property were filled in Foundation was checked and repaired. Plumbing completely replaced by Jason Smith Plumbing and Heating. Culligan reverse osmosis water system was installed by. Vetters in Washington 2012: Electrical boxes on outside of house all replaced by Total Connection Electric. A tank-less water heater installed by Jason Smith Plumbing and Heating. 2013:All duct work cleaned and repaired by McCoy Plumbing and Heating; 2013: A new furnace installed by Jason Smith Plumbing and Heating as well as a Central Air Conditioning also installed by Jason Smith Plumbing and Heating. 2014: New breaker box installed by Total Connection Electric. 2015: New shed placed on property on a gravel pad from Shrocks. Fenced in part of area behind the house with 6 foot chain link installed by Don Upton/Jim Scott. 2016: Gutted the bathroom and replaced tub/shower, sink, etc. (Seymoure Construction, Shafer Specialties did the electric, Jason Smith Plumbing and Heating, Dan Snavely did the painting, and N. Lange installed the tile flooring) 2017: New sidewalks installed, new patio area put in. Gutted the north bedroom upstairs all of the studs all checked, new insulation, replaced electric, new outlets, boxes, etc., refinished all woodwork and floor. (Major worked by Seymoure Construction, Shafer Specialties did the electric, and Dan Snavely did the painting)
