The proximity to the beach without the Manhattan/ Hermosa prices is a huge bonus. And the neighborhood is very friendly. You see the same people out walking their kids or their dogs so you get to know your neighbors. There are parks that are walking distance (Morgan Street Park and Dominguez Park, which will be redone this year) and for young kids, Jefferson Elementary is one of the most desired schools in Redondo and is a short walk down the street.
