Home has been upgraded soup to nuts while we have preserved the noble udeals of the architect circa 116 years ago in 1900 part of the Arts and Crafts movement. It has all new plumbing, new electrical (including a new electrical panel), new gas line, furnace redone etc. The house with his high ceilings has been restored. There has been a super sized jacuzzi whirl pool tub upgraded in the master bathroom. There is a huge marble sink in the bathroom. In both the master bathroom and the full bathroom in the hallway I upgraded with $400 toliets for each bathroom. They have a near vacumed pull and are of course much lower on water use. The library when both windows have curtins drawer are a soft sea of light. The library has a view of a late 19 century (circa 1880) building across the street. There is a third floor not added into the square footage that we use for storage as there is such ample footage for two people. The third floor has high ceilings so it is not your usual attic as it has insulation etc. On the ground floor there is a huge kitchen as well as pantry. Then there is a very large formal diningroom. The middle is the livingroom with an entrance to the patio that wraps around half the house. The last room on the ground floor is the huge library with a fireplace. It is very peaceful for me to withdrawer to. My godson wants to turn it into a media room which is big enough easily for it but I prefer tvs to be in each bedroom. The second floor has the three bedrooms. It has a bathroom in the hallway for two if the bedrooms to share. The third bedroom is the master bedroom with a master bathroom the size of a small bedroom. It was custom redone to my specs. Beautiful windows which i rejpice in the cfort of my tub looking out at my groomed garden or even the simple pleasure of watching a squirrel eat its supper on my window sill. The third floor as I have already mentioned could be developed as a bedroom, an office, artist syudio, or used for storage as I do currently. It is an amazing property that has brought delight to myself and vistors alike. There is an enormously attractive garden that has given joy to my heart and eyes to relax in. I am retired from the military. My health is failing so I must go to a home where I can get medical treatment on a 24/7 basis. My godson will be joining with my children in Paris. Sad to say I must sell this warm and wonderfully seasoned home. The house has had added to be accessable by wheel chair. It has a light weight sturdy ramp in front of house. There is a seated lift to take anyone up the stairs. Both stair glid and/or wheelchair can be removed wheel I leave or they can stay aa you prefer.
