Great family home in old Daphne on a quiet cul-de-sac. There are only 10 homes on this street and each home has it's own personality. This home is particularly unique due to its large sloping lot- it has a walk out basement. Two screened porches run the length of the house and overlook old live oaks, soaring pines and giant magnolias. One upper porch and one lower porch in case you need some social distance from your family. Living room ceiling is vaulted. Cabinetry in the kitchen and bathrooms is good old-fashioned wood. No melamine here. The windows in the home were upgraded a few years ago to double pane Marvin Integrity. The walls are framed with 2x6's so there is more insulation than you'd expect. The utility bills are very reasonable. We use Mediacom for internet but I believe U-verse is also an option here. This home was built in the late 70's and some of the decor still lives there :) But, if you want to walk your kids to school or throw down at the end of the street when the Mardi Gras parades roll by this is your house.
