The cottage dates to 1860, and while its thoughtful renovation preserved many of its historic elements, it is equipped with all the modern conveniences. Antique furnishings and original art distinguish this property from many others on the executive/rental market. The entire property consists of two cottages at opposite ends of a beautiful courtyard shared with your hosts. We live in the front cottage, and have our own entrance. Your cottage has its own separate entrance through a locked garden gate. We have two sweet rescue dogs you will see in the courtyard from time to time. The cottage is located in the shady and quiet Beach Institute neighborhood on the eastern edge of Savannah's historic district. It's just a few blocks from Forsyth Park and lots of great shopping and restaurants are within a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage. We are a 10 minute drive from Candler and Memorial Hospitals, and about a 15-20 minute drive from St. Joseph's Hospital. Our block on Taylor Street has free (on-street) parking, and there are CAT bus stops within a block in each direction. Cat or small dog NEGOTIABLE, pending approval, with a nonrefundable deposit of $300.00. Please, no 3rd party rental inquiries. Furnished rental, utilities (power, water, internet) included. Maximum number of tenants: TWO. 30 day minimum stay with simple month to month lease agreement. Ideal for stays of 30 - 90 days. Free (unmetered) on-street parking. A pet is POSSIBLE pending approval and $300.00 nonrefundable deposit. Absolutely no smoking in cottage. Move-out cleaning fee is $200.00, payable at end of tenancy.
