1 Bedroom for rent a few blocks from the ocean. I am looking for a roommate to move into a shared beach house, two blocks from the ocean in Leucadia. West of the 101. The house is furnished, minus the bedroom. It comes with a decent closet (in the room), 1/2 of a hall closet, and 1/2 of an outdoor shed. There is private parking in the back of the house, washer/dryer, and a private backyard area. I have lived in the home for 1.5 years and looking for a roommate. MOVE IN: December 1st LOOKING FOR: - Someone who works the majority time out of the home. - Preferably in your 30's - Can make rent without stressing - Minimal belongings. The house is open, airy and beautiful but does not have a lot storage unfortunately - Clean (as a creative having a tidy house is super helpful for my process) ABOUT ME: - I work full time for a creative agency (from me, unless we have a production). - I also freelance as a photographer/filmmaker focusing on human rights and activism. - I'm active - yoga, horseback riding, dancing, ocean dips, gym, bike rides, (climbing/surfing - sparingly but it happens). - I cook once a week (maybe). - I love minimalism. This can be annoying to some, so hoping to find someone who naturally aligns with that. - I meditate (often in the backyard area). - Love the outdoors and neighborhood strolls. - Cons: I'm not the best plant mama...but I try. - I keep pretty low key, enjoy group dinners at the house once in a while or a random night out (which is quite rare these days). - Over all I'm easy going, versatile, I enjoy a lot of things which consumes a majority of my free time. I can be a home body at times and the complete opposite at others. - I love documentaries but have used our tv about 8 times. Wifi and electric not included.
