Because of the layout, it's very private and you don't see your neighbors - nor do they see you! :) The large terrace sits just off the dining room and overlooks a private and serene garden. It's also very spacious and has a nice flow to it, with a large entryway dividing the bedrooms from the main living space, and the ability to separate the two with a pocket door. And if you're a tennis player, this is a great neighborhood to be in. It's a two minute walk to BV courts and five minutes to the Corona Heights and Flint Street courts. Pets are allowed, both cats and dogs, with no additional pet rent. Insofar as utilities, owner pays for water and trash. No parking unfortunately but I have a car and purchased the S parking permit and have had no issues whatsoever finding street parking (perhaps because it's on top of a hill or there are more single-family residences/less density). I'm not the owner. I rent and have only been here a few months, but unfortunately my circumstances have changed and I need to downsize. This really pains me as it's a great place, but such is life. :) I've been given permission by the very nice owner to find someone to take over my lease, which ends next Dec 1. So this would be a lease takeover for the remainder of the year, with the option to stay on and sign a new lease with the owner at that time. For this reason, I'm also flexible on move-in date, i.e. doesn't have to be March 1.
