We call this unit The Burrow, our coziest accommodation for those OVER FIFTY years of age. Peaceful and quiet, this mountain-setting unit is ideal for two and comfortable for three. Rent is ALL-INCLUSIVE, TURN KEY. No lawn maintenance or hauling off garbage. Great internet, washer & dryer, and walk-in shower. The central heat and air are less than three years old and utilize a halo air purification system that keeps things crisp and pure. The Burrow occupies the ground level of the little house on the Yewit Center grounds. The bedrooms overlook the stocked pond, which you are welcome to fish, and if the window is cracked, you can hear the waterfall on Crooked Creek. The kitchen has all the amenities one would expect. Only a seven-minute drive to Young Harris College, this quaint mountain setting is easily accessible off State Hwy 339 and conveniently located between Blairsville, Hiawassee, and Hayesville, NC, one mile from Lake Chatuge. We LOVE dogs. We have three of our own. However, due to experience, as a rule of thumb, we will consider pets under special circumstances and then only if they are extremely well-behaved and friendly with no barking. Cats are frowned upon, as are dogs over fifty pounds. We allow for one car to be parked by the unit. Additional parking is available in front of the main building. We are on sight 24/7, but you may never see us. The Burrow has a separate drive and entrance, so your privacy is protected. We prefer short-term rentals (three to twelve months) but will entertain long-term rentals if the situation warrants. Our standard lease is month-to-month. Peaceful, private, quiet, secure, and it's all-inclusive. The lease is month-to-month but can be negotiated if the situation warrants it. Utilities are included in the rent. Thermostats are set at 68 degrees during the winter and 78 in the summer. If you desire cooler or warmer temperatures, a surcharge may apply. NO SMOKING is allowed inside the unit. Smoking is permitted outside. One car is allowed by the unit. Additional parking available in front of the main building. Lawn maintenance is not required. Garbage must be double-bagged and placed in the bin. We will collect garbage at least once a week.
