I'm looking for a female graduate student or young professional to take my room in my current, ground-level apartment at the Charlottesville Towers. The room has its own private bathroom, large closet space, and a ceiling fan. I have two roommates who are PhD students at UVA who are staying on the lease until at least July 1 and may resign. They are both lovely and considerate, very easy to get along with. This would be a lease transfer, NOT a sublet so you would have full rights and responsibilities for the room. The apartment was refinished in 2017 with all new flooring, paint, cabinetry, shelving and appliances; full size fridge, gas range, microwave and dishwasher. AC units are separate for each unit, so air is not circulated throughout the building. Laundry is on site in the basement. Parking is included, right outside the unit, and always available. Apartment unit is wheelchair accessible through the lobby, however, there is a private access to this particular unit through the patio as it is a corner ground-level apartment. The rent includes utilities, except for internet through Comcast and breaks down to around $13 a month between roommates. It is strong and reliable. The apartment is cat friendly, with a monthly pet rent of $25. Unfortunately no dogs are allowed (except service dogs as under the ADA/FHA).
