Our fully furnished home is available from June 15 to July 31 (~7 weeks) while we're visiting family abroad, and it's set up for an easy, relaxed stay whether you're here with family, working remotely, or just looking to be close to the ocean for a few weeks. The house sits on a quiet street on a large, private lot with only one direct neighbor. From here, you can walk to Mesa Lane Beach, Elings Park, Douglas Family Preserve, and the Mesa shopping area with cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores, so most day-to-day outings don't require a car. The outdoor space is what makes this place special. The yard is fully fenced in both the front and back, with multiple patios for outdoor dining, a BBQ, fire pit, and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. There are fruit trees and raised garden beds, and it's the kind of setup where you naturally end up spending most of your time outside. Inside, the home is bright and open with vaulted ceilings in the living room. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a king bed and its own bathroom, while the guest room includes a twin trundle that works well for kids. Both bedrooms have sliding doors that open directly to the backyard. The kitchen is fully equipped with updated appliances, and the living room includes a fireplace. The home is fully furnished, with fast WiFi that works well for remote work. There's a washer and dryer in the garage, driveway parking, and EV charging outlets available. Please note that part of the garage is used for storage. This is a comfortable, low-friction place to settle into for a few weeks and enjoy summer in Santa Barbara, best suited for a small family or a couple looking for a quiet, residential neighborhood close to the beach. Utilities / Services: - Owner pays for all utilities and weekly gardening service Rental Terms: - 1.5-month lease (home is available from 6/15/2026 to 7/31/2026) - No smoking of any kind - Dogs are considered with an additional deposit - Co-signers are not accepted on this listing Tenants will be required to purchase renter's insurance (approximately $15 - 30/month) naming Landlord (owner) as additional insured with minimum liability coverage of $100,000.
