There is a nice bike path near Eastwood park that leads to downtown. There are a few other nearby parks that are walking distance and also nice (Spurlock is my favorite!) Eado also boasts some cool local cafes and hipster bars/shops in the area. Bohemeo's is our favorite! Rent will be $850 per month with electric, gas, water and trash covered.
