Pros: - Walking distance to grocery stores - Walking distance to the coolest co-working space (The Preserve) - Pet-friendly - Fast Wi-Fi - 1 gated parking space - Private porch with plants - Walking distance to fantastic Thai food - Shared Laundry - 5 min to Griffith Park, 20 min to downtown Cons: - Although this is a standalone house, there are neighboring units close by on the same property. - The driveway is difficult to get in and out of. - A/C units are window units, not central A/C If I were to review my own house, this would be the review: "I spent a month living in this cozy two-bedroom, one-bath house and it struck a solid balance between livability and location for a longer LA stay. The single Jack-and-Jill bathroom connects the bedrooms, and while that layout might not be ideal for everyone, it worked well for us. The living room gets great natural light and felt genuinely welcoming after a long day. I often found myself on the porch, sipping coffee at the table surrounded by lush potted plants a calming little urban oasis. The bedrooms are on the smaller side, but not cramped. Both beds have queen memory foam mattresses and I genuinely slept like a baby. The bathroom was clean, had solid water pressure. The place is overall clean, though it does show signs of normal wear some scratches on the bedroom floor, dust on blinds and picture frames here and there. Nothing deal-breaking, but if you're looking for pristine perfection, just calibrate your expectations. The kitchen had enough counter space for me to cook regularly, though I did wish for just a little more elbow room when meal-prepping. Still, I had what I needed, and being able to cook at home made the stay more affordable and comfortable. Having dedicated parking in this neighborhood is gold. That said, the neighbors park on one side of the driveway, so it took a little finesse to navigate around them, but it was worth it to avoid the street parking hunt. Fast, reliable internet made working from home a breeze. I had Zoom meetings, uploaded files, streamed movies never had a hiccup. And it was nice to be able to have my own dedicated desk to work from, instead of at the dinner table for instance. If you're looking for a clean, functional, pet-friendly base with fast internet, real beds, and a touch of character, this house is a solid pick. It's not flawless, but it's comfortable, livable, and surprisingly easy to settle into. Just don't expect luxury expect a warm, practical home that delivers on the essentials." If you are looking for a house and private stay in a very convenient neighborhood of Los Angeles, look no further! Stay in our 2 bedroom house in the East Hollywood neighborhood. The house is a little bit older. It is a standalone private house with a porch. Just down the street there are grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants and stores. Although the neighborhood is very walkable and lively, you might occasionally see unhoused people. 2 BEDROOMS Each bedroom has a queen sized memory foam mattress with professionally laundered white sheets. There are 4 pillows on each bed to provide you with the most comfort. Each bedroom also has its own window A/C. BATHROOM The full tub and shower, fresh towels, shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer provide all of your bathroom essentials. This bathroom is a jack and jill bathroom meaning that it connects the 2 separate bedrooms. KITCHEN Our fully stocked kitchen includes pots, pans, cookware, dishes, silverware, microwave, a Keurig with complimentary coffee, and full-size appliances. LIVING ROOM The living room is spacious and bright. Enjoy connecting any of your viewing apps like Netflix, Hulu, HBO etc. on the Smart HDTV and high-speed WiFi. The living room sofa can convert into a sofabed as well. DINING ROOM The separate dining room space seats 4 people comfortably around the dining room table. The work desk is also located in the dining room. PATIO/PORCH The porch is at the front of the house and has a table large enough to have a meal at and 2 chairs. There are also potted plants all around the porch to add a little greenery and calmness. Book Today to Make the Most of Your Visit to Los Angeles! Flexible lease terms starting at just 1 month!
