It is less than 4 miles to the University of NM, Presbyterian and UNM Hospitals, Kirkland Air Force Base, and Albuquerque's International Airport and has convenient, easy access to both I-25 and I-40. The house has an open dining/living room with wood fireplace. There is a large east facing kitchen with a full sized refrigerator and gas stove. There are two bedrooms, one Queen Tempur-Pedic and one Full with new hybrid mattress and a shared full bath. Both bedrooms have small but efficient closets and one bedroom has a large desk (and optional printer). There is a separate laundry room with washer/dryer located off the kitchen with a door that leads to the backyard. The yard is large, walled and gated and has both sun and shade and a small patio that includes a Weber gas grill. The house uses an evaporative air conditioner (swamp cooler) to distribute cold air throughout the house, and is heated with hot water baseboard heat. High speed wireless internet is available and there is a monitored alarm system. Well mannered and non-destructive quiet pets are considered; a separate pet deposit ($150, refundable) is required as well as landlord approval. Most utilities, dependent on total number of occupants and length of stay, and yard care are included in rent. References are required. Non-smoking only. There is off-street parking for one or two cars, and ample street parking. House shares a wall with a small studio rental with private entrance. You are not likely to cross paths with this renter.
