    Looking for a beautiful home nestled in the best neighborhood of Marshall and walking distance to downtown shops and coffee? This 1880's simple Queen Anne's Victorian home has been carefully restored over the years to pay respect to the era. We purchased in May of 2023 and sadly we need to simplify and downsize. Although we haven't been here long we have added to the restoration process of this beautiful home. June 2023 carpet was removed on the main level and professionally had the original pine floors refinished back to their glory days. There is just as beautiful wood floors hiding upstairs under the carpet and stairsways! June 2023 landscaping was given new mulch and a new brick boarder. July 2023 new sump pump. August 2023 the sun/mud room off the kitchen was completely reconstructed to the studs. All new subfloor, drywall, support beam, low E double hung windows and screen door. August 2023 fireplace tile was replaced in living room. August 2023 new side entry door on garage. September 2023 ALL 36 windows were replaced and exterior colors were chosen because a true Victorian has 3-5 exterior colors. The clay colored windows also respect the interior of the home as white windows would look out of place. All are energy star double hung easy clean except 1 picture window. They have warranty that will be passed to next owner from company. December 2023 new gas stove. February 2024 fresh paint in laundry- half bathroom and hallway. March 2024 main floor flex room (play room, office, 5th bedroom) had wallpaper stripped and freshly painted back to the original color of the room. March 2024 4th bedroom (upstairs) wallpaper stripped and freshly painted. May 2024 full bathroom upstairs wallpaper stripped and freshly painted. Other details of replacements in recent years are a brand new metal roof (2017), outdoor paint (2019), and two fully restored and functioning fireplaces (2017). All kitchen appliances are included in the sale. All main floor window treatments will stay with the home and some upstairs. Microwave hutch will stay in kitchen for added storage. New furnace filter February 2024. Air conditioner serviced and cleaned summer 2023. Furnace serviced January 2024. All 11 smoke alarms and C/O detectors were replaced February 2024.
