We have mostly used it as a single-family home, with the exception of visiting folks and petsitters, but the basement could be used as a completely separate space, as it has its own access and could easily be rented if that were desired (as others have done; this apartment was rented for $900/month when we purchased the house). Four blocks from the University of Wyoming campus, two blocks from Civic Center/Library. Fenced backyard, great raspberry patch (local hi altitude cultivar), lilacs, garage. There are 2 BR/1 bath, den or study, living room, dining room, and kitchen on main level, with master suite upstairs, plus attic storage area, and then 3 BR/bath/LR/kitchen/laundry room in lower level. We have done a lot of work on the house over the years, including full renovation of kitchen (new range and dishwasher this year) and master bath (part of 2nd floor master suite, with study/office, walk-in closet, and BR/Bath with separate large tub and shower), as well as addition of a garage and porch; all windows except for two have been replaced. The house was just painted. The sewer line has been drilled out and replaced with PVC. We have also done a lot of electrical upgrades, including 200-amp service, and added insulation. Sidewalks/curb in front have also been replaced. It has been a wonderful home for our family, and we look forward to handing it on to the new owners.
