This incredible location at 12th and South is probably as safe as it gets in Center City: you can walk to all Center City restaurants, theaters and night spots; it's only a two-minute walk to Whole Foods, Acme, Chase Bank, PNC, and Citizens Bank; an easy walk (10-15 minutes) to Jefferson University and to Pennsylvania Hospital; it's a two-block / two-minute walk to the South Street subway station on the Broad Street SEPTA "B" line; it's only a 15-minute commute (via one bus) to University of Pennsylvania, or to Temple University (via one subway train ride); and just a one-block walk to an excellent dog park (gated) Robert, the Owner, lives right next door, and so if there's a problem, he is right there to help you, and to make sure that all maintenance issues are quickly resolved.
