517 Madewood Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24503

Full of old-style character, this classic brick home sits on a quiet street off Rivermont, just minutes from the upscale restaurants on Bedford Avenue and from downtown Lynchburg's dining, attractions and walking trails. It's ready for winter. A propane-powered home generator keeps the lights on when storms knock out power. The main level has a carpeted living room and a formal dining area next to the kitchen, a layout that makes hosting easy. The primary bedroom has its own half bath. Upstairs you'll find two more bedrooms and a full hall bath. The mostly finished basement adds a lot of living space, with a full bar setup, a second full bath and the fourth bedroom. It works well as a game room, media room or place to entertain. Out back there's a patio and a good-sized yard. A large concrete driveway gives you plenty of off-street parking.
