Set up high and far from the road yielding our guests privacy yet not giving the feeling of isolation. Peace and quiet and access to town is perfect for the writer / artist / new parent who wants to enjoy the country lifestyle and still keep in touch with town life. Come relax in this 1896 Victorian farmhouse which lies on over 4 acres. It has 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths and a double living room. this house best accomodates five guests but can receive up to seven. Our village is walking distance from the house and some guests prefer to walk to town for groceries, dinner, art openings or coffee at the bookstore from time to time. Antiquing in the area is a popular pastime, and many bargains can be found in Delhi and surrounding towns. We are located close to skiing for the winter season, with both Belleayre and Hunter Mountains close enough for skiing day-trips. The history in the Catskill's settlements, and character of its people, always make our guests feel comfortable and at home. Spending time upstate means relaxing without crowds, worries, or the necessity to hurry. The house is furnished with traditional period pieces and some modern flair. It comes fully equipped with linens, towels and a large modern kitchen. We wish to share the house with other people who appreciate and respect nature's beauty. After your stay you will return to New York City with a renewed energy and a fresh perspective.
