The apartment is a 2.5 bedroom, 2 bathroom, two story unit. The "0.5" extra bedroom is a private office room with its own closet space and we have used it as a bedroom in the past with a twin air mattress for guests as well. It doesn'thave a window which is why we don't call it a third bedroom. We also have three balconies- one private balcony in the downstairs master bedroom, and two small balconies in the living room. We also have a private rooftop with a Manhattan skyline, wall for screening outdoor movies, benches and tables, plants, lights, and plenty of room for hanging out. The layoutof the space lends to a lot of privatespace. The downstairshallway has its own bedroom, bathroomand office space. The upstairsarea has another bedroom, bathroom, and a loft area that we use as our office space. This spatial division among the first and second floor makes it ideal for sharing with another person as it feels like two separate apartments with a lovely communal area. At times we've been three people working from home and there's been private space for everyone to work. The living room is large with 16" ceilings, two large sofas and a 60" smart TV. So it is great for chilling and having friends over. The open large communal space has made a huge difference for us in communal living. The tv also has Netflix, Hulu, and Criterion Collection which the renter is more than welcome to use. The apartment has a gas stove, Central AC and heating, brandnew in unitwasher and dryer, oversized dishwasher, and a smart thermostat that youcan control with voice command from anywhere in the house with an Alexa. We totally love this, you don't have to get out of bed to change the temperature. We have an herb garden inthe living room balcony and rooftop thatthe future tenant is free to use thathas rosemary, thyme, tomatoes, and snap peas along with other beautifulplants. We do hope that whoever rents this space is willing to water theplants twice a week. The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils necessary. We are big cooks so we have a wok, cast iron, dutch oven, pans, large pot for meal prep soups, etc. We really love our kitchen and have put much time and care into finding good quality materials that make it a pleasure to cook. The future renter is more than welcome to use anything they'd like in the house we just ask they use it with gentleness and care. We are a 7 minutes walk from the L, G J, and M trains. We are closest to the Lorimer stop on the L train. We are 15 minutes away from Manhattan by train and the nearby G train makes it very convenient for getting around Brooklyn. The neighborhood has a lot of great restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. We are lucky to be two blocks away from the noisier bit, tucked away in a residential street. The buildingis a great 4 story, 8 unit building with friendly neighbors. The building is secure with a double locked entrances, buzzer system, and security cameras. The price is $6,000/month plus utilities for the entire unit, furnished. The utilities are gas, electricity and wifi (water is included). Regarding the process, we'd be happy to do a video call to get to know you more. If you're interested we'd do a background check and then a contract with a deposit.
