Prefer a 10/1 move-in but open to 9/1 as well. Looking for one year lease, but open to 9 month as well. Here is your chance to live in one of the most unique properties in the historic Redstone Village. This 2500 sq foot house is an old log cabin that had a modern addition added in 2007. Recently, the house went under a large internal renovation which includes a new chef's kitchen with new stainless appliances and a 5' x 10' concrete chef's table / island and a dining area with 11' dining table made from reclaimed container flooring that can seat up to 12. The house has in-floor radiant heat through the new addition and electric baseboard heating in the log room. We also just installed a new on-demand water heater that will significantly reduce the amount of propane needed to heat the radiant flooring. Hardwood flooring throughout the entire house with a custom finish in the open kitchen, dining and living space. Built-in sofas with custom upholstery were added to enjoy the views of the red cliffs from the massive window in the open and airy living, kitchen and dining space. The upstairs log bedroom includes a newly renovated modern en suite bathroom. The old log cabin was gutted and converted into a grand entertaining and relaxing dark log room complete with an audiophile quality Peachtree receiver connected to vintage Klipsch speakers. Enjoy the 120" projector for epic friends and family movie nights. A custom designed wool sectional allows you to rearrange for prime relaxing and movie viewing. The sofa converts to a king size bed for when you might have extra guests. The downstairs bedroom has windows and glass French doors that look out and open up to the magical backyard and red cliffs above. The entire house has been recently painted with custom paint including a lime wash finish in the downstairs bedroom. There are several seating areas out front to watch the village go by. Redstone is a unique village that feels like a step back in time. Penny hot springs are just down the road and there are numerous hiking trails that leave right from the village. The crystal river has great seasonal fly fishing and isn't overcrowded like its neighboring roaring fork or frying pan. There is even a private section of the river we could help arrange access to. Some of the best backcountry skiing, barbecue and of course the famous crystal mill are just up the road in Marble as well. And the newly opened Coal Basin mountain bike ranch opened just 3 miles up Coal Basin Road opposite the main entrance to the village. Redstone is in a magical place that remains easily accessible throughout the year. Just far enough away to feel like you are somewhat remote, but close enough to Carbondale and Aspen for when you need culture (and an office). More and more people are commuting from Redstone because it is still one of the few places in the area that feels a bit hidden yet is still easily accessible to anything you need. Walk to the general store for local produce and proteins, enjoy the pizza from Propaganda pie literally across the street, grab your locally made flies made specifically for the Crystal River and enjoy a drink at the historic Redstone Inn. Owner pays for yard maintenance including snow removal of driveway and trash. Tenant pays for electricity, water (includes sewage), propane and internet. We prefer a one year lease, but open to discussing longer or shorter terms. We are offering the house fully furnished with custom furniture made for the house and including audiophile A/V system. Tenant will be responsible for any damage. Tenant can have full access to storage sheds if needed. We are open to discussing inclusion of electrical vehicle charging if needed. We welcome well-behaved pets. ruff ruff. Open to move-in date, but would prefer end of summer. Deposit of $7500 is negotiable based on qualifications. First month and deposit due at signing.
