This house was built in the late 1890's when Pritchett, Tx was actually a town and not a community. When Pritchett was a town, the owner of the bank had the house built. It is 39x39 with a 1/3 wrap around proch. I've tried to keep it as origional as possible. I'm a huge fan of "This Old House", and that's where I've gotten my inspiration with the restoration that I've done. We are also in the process of painting it green and white vs. the yellow and pink that it was. Neighborhood Description For the most part, Pritchett is a nice, quiet, country living. You have your occasional idiot that goes racing down the oil top, but other than that, it's the 'howdy neighbor', and relaxing under one of the many pecan trees or the magnolia tree, or just enjoying a glass of sweet tea on the front porch. I find it very relaxing.
