The room for rent is at the front of the house, gets lots of natural light, and is 10ft x 13ft. Most of the house is hardwood, kitchen and bath have linoleum. The house has three bedrooms and one bathroom; it is fully furnished. The back yard is large, fenced in, and has a fire pit with stone benches, a chicken house (chickens coming soon), a garden for me, a garden for you, and... wait for it... a TRAMPOLINE Rent includes electric, water, trash, sewage, whatever else the city collects for regularly. I don't have cable or internet currently. I will hook up the satellite tv eventually. Room can be furnished for additional fee. Friendly pets welcome. I have a 10 year old female pit bull. If your pet doesn't get along it obviously won't work out. I don't like house cats, no house cats allowed, I open to everything else, including small tigers. (My dog doesn't try to escape so I don't know how secure my fence is, I would guess minimally secure.) I work part time for a doctor's office in the west end. I have friends to my house a couple times a month to hang around the fire and drink, play board games, watch movies, whatever. Everyone leaves by midnight and we respect the neighbors, I'm not an all nighter type of person. I keep the house clean, you won't see my room so let's just go ahead and say that's clean too. I am looking for a roommate who will keep clean and pay rent on time. If you want to be friends that's cool but not a requirement. You must have a job that pays 2x the rent and have been with the employer beyond 90 days (apply with last 3 pay stubs). You also must provide a credit report, they are free on creditkarma.com. The third room is small and furnished with bunk beds. It's there in case someone needs to crash at the house because they don't have a sober ride or whatever. I plan to rent the room out to tourists for the bike race. Lease term is 6 months and month to month after that. Rent is due on the first. $600 rent + $600 deposit ($900 deposit with bad credit/no credit report) needed to move in. I can work with you on the deposit. Please email or text if interested.
