    Here is the deer camp we all remember. A large timber parcel with tons of hardwoods including large oaks, maples and cherry trees. Approximately 40 acres of this property was select cut to remove all the ash about 15 years ago and it has transformed into fantastic bedding and fawning ground as well as a very good winter food supply for the herd. It is difficult to even tell it was select cut at this point in time as it is still covered with hardwoods. The other 40 acres is all large never cut hardwoods with most of the ash removed. The oaks supply a ton of food in the fall and the deer are heavy on them. There is a food plot currently planted in rye and oats with a box blind sitting over it. There are several other locations for similar plots however the current owner has never needed them as there has been minimal hunting pressure on the property. The land is not your typical Michigan flat land. This piece rolls quite a bit with some very nice hardwood ridges and valleys that have some serious runways in them. There is also a water hole where everything on the property drinks and frequents several times a day. There is a very well maintained trail system allowing access to anywhere on the property with any wind as well as easy access to stands and blinds. There are several ladder stands staying with the property and there are six box blinds throughout the parcel. There is a ¼ mile deeded easement that is in great condition and access is easy.  The camp sleeps 4-6 comfortably and is off grid. There are propane gas lights,12v and 100v lights in the camp and there are solar panels that charge the batteries for the lighting. There is a generator that is staying that can provide 110 power, if needed. There is a hot water tank as well as a full shower and bathroom. It is heated with a propane furnace. Everything you need to be comfortable in any weather.  The owner has taken several nice bucks over the years he has owned it and has been practicing quality deer management for several years taking 8 points and better. The turkeys are everywhere as well.  This is a quality parcel of land with very good timber value and very good hunting.
