Here's the plan: one unit (far right unit, 5228 Lotus Way) will be constructed entirely from shipping containers, while all three units will feature the containers as indoor-outdoor rooftop terraces. Still with us? This modern wave of architecture has recently gained popularity on the East Coast, and we're celebrating accordingly. Designed by award-winning architect Peter Margittai, The Cargo Lofts are a fusion of practicality, efficiency, and straight-up swag. Built in 1900, the space itself is a former warehouse that's packed with character, charm, and outrageous potential. As we transition the building into separate units, we're paying homage to its roots by preserving the original 12ft ceilings, exposed brick, finished concrete floors and overall industrial feel. To complement those old-school elements, we'll add black stairs with raw metal railings; stainless aluminum doors; the works.
