Across the street from a park and city owned high rise for disabled or retired people. We like walking to Penrose Library, about ½ mile away. Also, bike path at the end of the block connects to main bike paths through city. We've ridden these paths all the way up to Monument, CO. Two parks with recreation equipment on Shooks Run. Basketball court, tennis court, swings, slide, etc in those parks. Central location means we can get almost anywhere in the Springs within 20 minutes, no matter which direction.
