Steps outside the kitchen is an adorable and clean outhouse, with a toilet that leads to the septic system. A main floor bedroom features log accents and a closet, as well as south and west facing windows. A ladder leads to the upper loft, with plenty of space for another bed or two, or a large bonus space with the impressive moss rock fireplace running through it. The front porch is perfect for a morning coffee or evening stargazing. The scent of pine needles and the symphony of birds outside provide the soundtrack for all your adventures. Palmer Lake is an absolute paradise, touted as “Almost Heaven!” Trails meander through the surrounding forest, inviting hikers and wildlife enthusiasts to explore. The nearby lake is available for fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking and picnicking.
