Charming 3BR/2BA U-District Home Walk to UW We're renting the main two floors of our 1924 home in the University District, just a 14-minute walk to UW campus and about 15 minutes to the U District light rail station. The house is around 2,000 sq. ft. with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, all upstairs. The primary bedroom is especially large, with its own bathroom and plenty of room for two queen beds if you're looking to share the space. The house has tons of character big windows and great natural light, hardwood floors, original details, and a working wood-burning fireplace. There's a large living room (wall-mounted TV included), separate dining room, and a kitchen with an induction cooktop, oven, fridge, and dishwasher. The house does not come furnished. One of our favorite things about the house is the outdoor space. There's a sunny back patio and front lawn surrounded by mature trees and landscaping. We live in the downstairs apartment, so the yard, patio, and basement laundry are shared between the two units. The location is hard to beat: you can walk to UW, the light rail, Safeway, and Whole Foods, and Trader Joe's is a quick drive away. Street parking is also usually very easy to find. Since we live downstairs (units have separate entrances), we're hoping to find renters who are friendly, communicative, and comfortable respectfully sharing the common spaces. Having friends over and hosting gatherings is totally fine the house is actually great for it we just aren't looking for a loud, late-night party house.
