This recently renovated house features hard wood floors, granite counter tops, mission-style furnishing, solid oak tables, leather chairs, two wood burning fireplaces, and a covered porch with seating for nine. An artist's touch graces every room and the views and sounds of Lake Michigan filter through the trees into every living space. The house is on the looping Lakeshore Drive on the Lake Michigan lakefront and it faces the lake from a slightly elevated perch. It is a quick and quiet 350 yard walk to your private association beach, and you can also drive, as there are multiple parking spots available. The neighborhood of Shorewood Hills is immediately south of Warren Dunes State Park, which offers trails for hiking and dunes for climbing. The cottage is also conveniently located for quick outings to all the popular Harbor Country Attractions - wineries, pick-your-own blueberries, farmers markets, Greenbush Brewery, and the antique shops in the nearby towns of Three Oaks, Union Pier and Lakeside. New Buffalo is only an 8 minute drive down the Red Arrow Highway as well. The front door opens to the main living area, which is well furnished and comfy and is designed around a flat-screen TV and the great fireplace. Family and friends can gather together around the coffee table and enjoy lake views from every seat. A solid oak gaming table with leather chairs is a perfect spot to complete a puzzle, board game or play poker while watching the sun set and it can also double as a breakfast nook. The house has three bedrooms that each have a private bath, as well as new mattresses and bedding. The main level has one bedroom with a king bed and the lower level has two bedrooms that each have a queen bed, all of which face Lake Michigan. The sleeping loft is just off the kitchen and it has one queen bed and two twin beds. Please note that the loft is accessible via a drop down door in the ceiling which then has a sturdy telescoping staircase. It is mainly suggested for the younger members of your group. The kitchen opens up to the dining area, which also has a flat-screen TV and large windows that open to a panoramic view of Lake Michigan through the trees. As mentioned, the house was recently remodeled so the kitchen is neat and clean and has new modern appliances. Everything is in place for everyday living and cooking. The front yard features a country garden and a cozy fire pit with relaxing lounge chairs, which is the perfect spot for making s'mores, sharing tales, or simply listening to the sound of waves lapping peacefully on the beach. The back porch is right behind the kitchen and it has a new Weber grill and a ping pong table, so your outdoor chef need not grill alone.
